[Dear] Housing, As a reminder, ASB 19914 is an on-going case that involves three of my close neighbours acting 'in concert'; one of them, sometimes addressed as 'Caroline' and allegedly female, is the 'guest' of Colin Smart at 161 High Street DY9 8LT and yesterday (5th September 2021) provided 'quite a contrast' to possibly the finest day of the year (fair, settled weather, historically associated with September) by sending 'er empty bottles of alcohol crashing down the shute, very early in the morning and, later, pottering to and from the landing window, which is persistently left wide-open, muttering, drunkenly, about this-and-that, until she succeeded in locking herself out of the block, apparently, and then persistently 'pressing my buzzer'. All of this has happened on previous occasions, including possibly the most annoying sequence, when, later in the afternoon, she spent some time shouting down the stairwell, "Philip, help me". Relations between myself, P Bradley at 157 and the occupants of 161 were 'manageable' until a dog was brought into the house by 'Frothy' downstairs, possibly at the behest of 'Carole' who is a confirmed cynophile; though I must try to continue to ignore this character as any intervention may lead to incidents and allegations that will worsen the situation, can anything be done? Drying-out is expensive and may not be available 'on the state' - is there a modern alternative to alcohol, bearing in mind a personal contribution could be made, that could be tried? DAustin
